Judith ‘Judy’ Gibson

July 10, 1942 – July 16, 2023

Judy Gibson was born on July 10th, 1942, in Tecumseh, Nebraska to Harold and Marjorie Barden.

Judy was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a happy, selfless, funny, and resilient woman who lived her life to the fullest. She had an active social life, getting together with friends often and taking her granddaughter to lunch regularly.

She loved country music, game shows, and spending time with family and friends. She was genuine and inquisitive; she had a natural cheerfulness about her that allowed her to make new friends wherever she went.

She made the best of every situation and her optimism was contagious. She brought so much joy to everyone around her.

She died peacefully in the company of her daughter and granddaughter on July 16, 2023. Judy is survived by her daughter, Jane (Tony) Meza; son, Carl Gibson; sisters, Marcia Sargent, Marilyn Wolf and Vickie West; granddaughters, Micaela (Brad) McKay and Alessandra Meza; grandson, Nickolas (Brandi) Meza; great-grandchildren children Olin McKay and Sloane Meza.
