Judy A. Tontegode, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2022 with her loving family by her side. She was born June 30,1945 in Albion, Nebraska to Arnold and Eunice (Ragland) Weiand.
Judy lived in Lincoln most of her adult life and worked at Square D as an electronics assembly expert for many years. After her retirement, she enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, sewing, gardening and spending time with her family and friends. She loved all animals, particularly her dogs, who were always by her side in all of her adventures.
Judy was a blessing to so many, and lived a full life that centered on her family and furry friends. She was a generous, kind and caring person who would do anything for anyone and she will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Scott and Joyce Tontegode, Brian and Christy Tontegode and her Grandson Holden Tontegode. Judy is also survived by her faithful furry companion Abe, Brothers and sisters-in-law David and Judy Weiand, Hurley and Ladonna Francisco, Ransom (Randy) and Betty Francisco and Lloyd Francisco. Sisters and brothers-in-law Nancy and Victor Sinica, Carolyn and Tim Gillispie, Phyllis and Leo Kreifels, Beverly and Marvin Meredith and numerous Nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her husband Raimonds (Ray) and her two dogs Reecie and Sydney.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on December 23, 2022 at Wyuka Funeral Home. The service will be live streamed. Watch by clicking HERE.
