“Mrs. Cook” was my son’s teacher 30 years ago. He was struggling with his parent’s divorcing, learning difficulties and just life but she loved on him and didn’t buy into his negativity. He ended up having such a good year under her tutelage! Our sympathy to the family.

So much memories come alone. Kathy was a good friend, a spiritual mother, and all good words you can think about. I can’t forget the first day she took me to southgate mall and Walmart for shopping. She hosted so many dinners for the international students gathering in her house. Taught us how to cut pineapple, how to make a fruit salad . Don and Kathy toured us the Christmas lights from north to south Lincoln. How could we forget her lovely smile, the “Kathy”’s smiles: gently moved her shoulders, winked one eye with the warmly smile. Kathy, she is a true Christian, the role model for us and lives in our hearts.
