I spent many summer evenings as a kid with him sitting outside by his front door having our infamous “Peanut Parties”—if he was out front after supper I would go running over with a jar of peanuts and he would provide the “giggle juice” (aka Pop) and we would sit and talk & snack. Well, mostly I would talk and he would listen! This is one of my favorite childhood memories and was recently sharing it with my own daughters. So sorry to hear he has passed away, but so grateful that he had 96 years and that he spent some of that time with me, the little girl who lived next door.

He was such a wonderful man. It was a pleasure to get to work with him. I will always remember his drive and sense of humor. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Cherish your memories and remember you have a wonderful guardian angle watching over you now. Sincerely Pam P

Our pharmacy was located at 33rd & A several years after Larry had sold his store there. Our love to Mike & family. Bill Tooley & Family
