Linda Spidel, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away peacefully, on Sunday morning December 22, 2024, at her home with her loved ones and pets by her side. Linda was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on July 4, 1957, the daughter of Thelma and Carl Hefner Sr.

Linda was able to be married for over 35 glorious years to James (Jim) Spidel. Together they enjoyed motorcycles, animals, and being with family.

Linda will always be remembered for being strong, independent and hardworking, a caring individual who loved to cook, her generosity towards others as well as her smile. Her family and friends loved her dearly; she was wonderful; wife, sister, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and all-around friend.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Spidel, Mother Thelma, father, Carl Sr, Sisters; Pamela and Karen, Brothers; Danny and Tuffy. She is survived by her loving brother Rick and sister Donna, many nephews and nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, and chihuahua Peewee.
