I’m so sorry I didn’t read his obituary in time to attend his graveside service at Wyuka. I remember Loren joking (a decade or more ago) that “when his time came, he’d just be moving across “O” St.” It was bittersweet to read his “move” had finally taken place. Over the years, Loren was an inspiration to many in our neighborhood. I’ll long cherish my memories of him walking his dogs down our street – good weather, or bad – stooped, but ever determined. I like to think he’s standing tall once again, with his beloved pets by his side. That would be heavenly.

May those precious memories of your dear loved one Loren be foremost in your hearts and minds along with this wonderful promise that Jesus made at John 5:28,29.
