ELAINE (SPOMER) HALL, 90, of Lincoln, died peacefully Jan. 17, 2015. Elaine was born Aug. 19, 1924 to John S. and Lydia (George) Spomer. In 1945 she wed Lincoln High School sweetheart R. Edward “Eddie” Hall. Married for 66 years, they had three children – Steven E. Hall of Bennet, NE; Nancy H. Cullen of Long Neck, DE; and Jeri E. Hall of Lewes, DE. Elaine was a personnel director for Lincoln Liberty Life Insurance Co. and a lifetime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, 11th & Plum.
She is preceded by her beloved husband, with whom she founded and operated Hall Pine Acres Christmas Tree Farm for many years.
Survived by her three children; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sister, Jane Hacker; brothers, Edwin J. Spomer of Springdale, AZ and Donald J. Spomer of LaCanada, CA; and many nieces and nephews.
