Marcella “Marcie” Metcalf, age 85, of Lincoln passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, January 25, 2014. She was born in Valparaiso, Nebraska to Frank and Antonia Uher. Marcie was active in senior bowling and enjoyed Husker football, spending time with family and her kitty, Andy. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
Survivors include her Sons, Alan Metcalf and Mark Metcalf both of Lincoln. Daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Bradley Freund and their daughter, Payton all of Las Vegas, Nevada. Sister, Helen Novachick of Lincoln. Preceded in death by her husband, Glen A. Metcalf, her parents, 4 brothers and 6 sisters.
Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, January 30th at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. A rosary will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Wyuka Funeral Home at 7:00 P.M. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 29th beginning at Noon until 8:00 P.M. at Wyuka Funeral Home.
Interment will be at Wyuka Cemetery
