When I found out she passed I was devastated. I cried for 2 days non stop! She introduced me to several different genres of book, and gave me life lessons she was and will still be my favorite teacher!!!!
Love you Mrs. K!!!!<3

She was also my 5th grade teacher at Randolph around 26 years ago (I believe Lynn and I were classmates). I also vividly remember her arranging the desks like continents. She was my favorite teacher at Randolph and was a wonderful and caring person. She excelled at being able to connect with, and engage everyone in the room. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Lynn was so excited about how she had the desks set up – like continents. Plus she had such a cool jacket – one with all the continents on it. Miss Pechar made learning exciting and challenging for her students. Then later in the spring of that year she got married and became Mrs. Kreikemeier. What made this so special was how she included her students in the special occasion. She showed the class the video of the wedding and even brought them some wedding cake. The influence your Wife, Mom, Daughter had on my daughter lasts until this day. She is a creative and caring teacher of 7th graders. You may have guessed by now what subject matter she teaches – world history! Bless your family as you miss a special lady in your lives. Our sympathies to you all. Becky Martin

My deepest sympathy to you. I have some wonderful memories of your mom helping out in the Kindergarten classroom while you kids were my students. Your mom was so neat and orderly, creative, fun-loving,and full of spirit. I remember the creative snacks your mother would prepare for the class( phone number sugar cookies, pretzels, home- made applesauce). She was a big help to me as I started my teaching career. She seemed to enjoy making crafts with your class(walnut baby Jesus ornament, corn craft, lion and lambs out of yogurt lids). Your mom has touched many lives. Prayers for strength, comfort and healing in the days ahead. God Bless you and let perpetual light shine upon her. God Bless
