Dear Ron, I have thought of both of you often in my life and wondered where you guys were. Both of you were my life line and saviors during high school. I have even been looking for a baritone to mess around with. I can’t express enough the love, acceptance and safety I felt having both of you in my life. Please know that my prayers and thoughts are with you and you family as you walk through the shadow of death. Death is not a destination but a doorway to God’s presence.

My friend and I went on 3 of the bus tours and had the absolute best time. We could not wait until the next one. Mavis was so nice and did everything to make sure the trips were enjoyable. My daughter in law went to Waverly High School and she said that Mavis was always so nice to everyone. My sympathy to Ron and their family. Mavis was a beautiful lady.
I am so sorry to hear this sad news. Many good memories of both Mavis and Ron. Praying your daughters and families surround you with love – especially the grandchildren – and the many wonderful memories bring you comfort in the days ahead.
Ron:
We were saddened to read of Mavis’ passing. Although many years have passed since our paths crossed, we have fond memories of those days when we were all young teachers. Please accept our condolences and know we will be praying for you during this difficult time.

Mr. Dalton, my deepest condolences! Your wife was a special coach to me and helped me explore my interest in volleyball. She was inspirational, as I went on to also coach high school volleyball both at Logan View and Fremont! I will always be grateful for the manner that she went above and beyond to collate and pass along HS statistics for me to help with the college scholarship process! Mrs. Dalton was above all classy and strong on the court and in the classroom! I took advanced PE because she made it fun, not because I needed the credit! My prayers to you and your family.
