Nadezhda A. Golotina age 91 of Lincoln passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home surrounded by her loving family on June 28, 2018. She was born November 27, 1926 in Neftegorsk, Krasnodarskiy Krai, Russia. In 1998, Nadezhda with her husband Ivan and daughter Katrina immigrated to the United States and became a U.S. citizen in 2007. Nadezhda was an incredible mom, wife, grandma and great grandma with an amazing and strong Christian faith. She was a great example of what a true Christian should be. At 10 years of age, her dad was arrested and killed for his faith, leaving her and her 5 siblings with their mom. She lived a very hard life, and now our mom, grandma and great grandma’s life has ended on this earth and her new life has begun in blessed eternity with God.
Survivors, Daughters and sons-in-law, Katrina and Michael Ponte, Olga Kuznetsova, Marina and Slava Kapliyev all of Lincoln. Sons and daughters-in-law, Mikhail and Yelena Golotin of Lincoln, Andrey and Anna Golotin of Apsheronsk, Russia, Ivan and Luba Golotin of Saratovskaya, Russia, Nicolai and Vera Golotin of Goryachiy Klyuch, Russia. 41 Grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan and daughter, Anna Picherova.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Wyuka Funeral Home.
Visitation will be on Friday, June 29, 2018 from 5:00-9:00 P.M. with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. at Wyuka Funeral Home.
Interment at Wyuka Cemetery.
