Penny Lynn Simanek, 77, passed away on February 29, 2024, in Lincoln, NE. She was born June 28, 1946, to Arthur and Effie Frenzen.
Penny is survived by her husband, Gary Simanek; children, Paul (Leslie) Robinson, Ward (Cari) Robinson, and Lynn (Kevin Widhalm) Robinson; and grandchildren, Chloe, Elena, Rudy, Ryker, Reece, and Ryder.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Dixie (Ken) Gannon; and mother-in-law, Geraldine Simanek.
Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024, at 11AM, at Wyuka Funeral Home, Lincoln.
Inurnment will take place at Fairview Cemetery, Lincoln.
Memorials may be donated to the family for future charitable designation.

Was so glad I meant you and the kids when I joined PWP, are friendship along with Susie & Kathy making the 4 musketeer’s will never be forgotten. Glad I moved back to Lincoln and was able to see you more often then before…. I love you
Penny & I were on a bowling league when I lived in Lincoln, Paul, Ward & Lynn along with my two girls would go in the nursery together. We had alot of laughs along with our friend Jane. I moved away, visited her a few times when I was back; however sadly lost touch over the years. Penny was so funny & kind.

I wish I could be there on Friday to say goodbye to a special cousin. Penny was fun, laughed a lot. It was always fun at the Frenzen gatherings Even though I was in shock at my son’s funeral I was so glad she and Gary came to the service. It meant a lot. You will be missed. I love you and happy you are at peace. I’m sure you’re whooping it up and having fun
