We are saddened to announce the passing of Ray McCray Jr., a beloved son, father, and brother, who departed this life on February 7, 2025. Born to Ray McCray Sr. and the late Tina McCray on March 22, 1990, in Clarksdale, MS, Ray later made Lincoln, Nebraska, his home.
Ray leaves behind his loving father, Ray McCray Sr.; sister, Tiunna Bradley; brother, Bryce McCray; his children, Zamyrah and Zaraya McCray; and his girlfriend, Jazmin Quintanilla-Penado. He was preceded in death by his mother, Tina McCray; and his two grandmothers; Minnie McCray and Louise Bradley. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to live on through the cherished memories he leaves behind.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, at 12:00 PM, at Wyuka Funeral Home, 3600 “O” Street, Lincoln, NE. Interment following the Service at Wyuka Cemetery, Lincoln.
Memorials to be designated to the family for future designation.
My precious, precious nephew. Oh how much I love you and miss you already. You will be so greatly missed. The Lord is giving me comfort in knowing that you knew how much you were loved. I will cherish the conversations, laughter and precious times we shared.
