Rebecca Olivette Kanu, age 47 of Lincoln passed away September 10, 2014. She was born May 5, 1967 in Freetown, Sierra Leone to Oshoba Carlton-Carew and Hawa Kamara.
Survivors include her husband, Umaru Kanu of Lincoln; Sons, Philemon and Samuel Kanu. Sisters, Morenike Lake and Mafudia Dumbuya. Brothers, Ola Bisi Carlton-Carew, Ladi Carlton-Carew, Samuel Carlton-Carew and Oshoba Carlton-Carew.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, September 26, 2014 at Praise Temple Church, Lincoln. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 25th from 9:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. at Wyuka Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at church on September 26th.
Interment will be at Wyuka Cemetery.
Mr Kanu, Philemon, Samuel and to all of Aunty Becky’s family. So sorry to hear about the passing of this vibrant soul. A soul who loved and lived life to the fullest. Thank you for sharing her with us.
