Richard “Dick” Hines of Milford, NE passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on January 22, 2019 at the age of 86.

Dick was born in Madison, South Dakota on July 31, 1932 to Emery and Elsie (Geiberger) Hines.  Dick spent most of his working career with Western Electric/AT&T in Omaha, Nebraska, until his retirement in 1985.  

He was a kind, loving, generous husband, father and grandfather.  He will be missed by all.  We are reassured by Dad’s expression of faith that we will be reunited for eternity in the presence of Jesus Christ.  

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara, his 4 brothers – Emery, Les, Ernie and Harold, and 2 sisters – Evelyn Welch and Millie McLuen.

Survivors include his children Rick (Robyn), Lynne (Gary) Craton, Jerry, Gary, Marsha Adams, and Greg (Dianne).  9 grandchildren – Erin, Elizabeth, Annabella, Karen, Kyle, Katie, Hayley, Beau, and Hunter.  4 great grandchildren – Sydney, Joshua, Tatum, and Tucker.  2 brothers – Charlie and Wayne.  1 sister – Shirley Moore.  

Memorial visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Wyuka Funeral Home, 3600 “O” St, Lincoln. Memorial service and inurnment will be at 2:30 p.m. following the visitation. Memorials to Grace Missionary Church – Missionary Fund, 501 Fairway Dr, Milford, Nebraska 68405.
