Mr. Dick Inbody went to be with the Lord, Saturday, August 25, 2018. Dick was born in Superior Nebraska in 1928. He was raised in Lincoln, Nebraska and after high school, Dick enrolled in the Navy.Flying airplanes was a love of his, but Dick chose radio engineering in his naval pursuits. Directly after Dick’s tour in the Navy, he returned to Lincoln Nebraska and completed a BS from Wesleyan University in Lincoln Nebraska.Dick’s career lead his life to California where he had a long and distinguished career in the aerospace industry. He was privileged to be an intricate part on projects such as Apollo, Gemini, and the moon launch in 1969.
The Inbody’s retired to Coeur d’Alene Idaho. Dick spent his years there fishing the lakes of the Northwest. While in Coeur d’Alene, Dick served on the board of Christ the King Luthern Church, was also president of Emerald Estates Water Association for many years. After his wife, Peggy passed away, Dick moved to Bonners Ferry, Idaho. Dick spent 12 happy years in his cabin in the woods, helping his son-in-law, Ivan Dunnick run Highground Ranch.Dick Inbody leaves behind his children, Susan, Scott and Pam, 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, his sister, Margaret Budell, brother-in-law Tony and their family, who still live in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Funeral service will be held September 22, 2018 at 11:00 am at Wyuka Chapel. Reception to follow.
