I really did not know her, only knew who she was. She was a very kind person.
She will be missed by her family and friends.

Shionie was a wonderful lady who I considered a friend as well as coworker . I was the school nurse and she was the secretary at Norfolk public school . We stayed in touch occasionally after retirement.
She loved going to Hawaii frequently during the winter and cherished her family .
Sending my sincere sympathy to her family .

In that time we experienced our education that would lead to our employment opportunities and those fun social lives for the times. We were able to stay in touch through all these years. Will remember her love for the times she and her family traveled to their beloved Hawaii. Miss you already 😔

We navigated our youth, work life, social fun and everything in between. She would bring Shawna to Arby’s for lunch on a regular basis when baby sat in a highchair. Adam was to come along a little later. So much history and beautiful memories in these 56 years.

She was an anchor for all of us. She was a very loving and caring individual who was loved by everyone who met her. I’ll cherish the memories, and remember her beautiful smile. I’m sorry for your loss and hope your memories will live forever in your heart. She loved Hawai so I’m sure she’s enjoying that beautiful sandy beaches.

She was so sweet. We will miss her but have so many wonderful memories of her when she was in Norfolk. God bless her family. Jean Hopkins former Jefferson School secretary Norfolk.
