Shirley I. Taylor age 92 of Lincoln passed away April 7, 2018. She was born July 13, 1925 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Harry and Shirley (Wing) Bliss. Shirley was a caregiver to her pets and her flower gardens.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Ed and Joan Taylor of Lincoln, Mike and Connie Taylor of Wilbur, Lee and Judy Taylor of Lincoln. 7 Grandchildren, 8 Great grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Leo Taylor and son John Taylor. Parents, and her 6 brothers, John, Sherm, Ray, Jim, Fred and Dave Bliss.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Wyuka Funeral Home.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Wyuka Funeral Home from Noon until 8:00 P.M. with family greeting friends from 5:00-6:00 P.M.
Interment will be at Wyuka Cemetery.
Memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Capitol Humane Society.

I work with Lee. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I know it is hard to have lost her but think of it as a great life lived. Celebrate the time you had with her.
