  2. Our thoughts and prayers are with Ashley and the whole family. God blessed us when he sent Sloan walking through our doors for a job and over the years that relationship grew into friendship. This man was kind, generous, funny and had a wonderful spirit. We feel honored and blessed to call him friend. The world may have lost this amazing man but God and the heavens gained a beautiful blessed spirit. Rest in peace Sloan and know you were loved!

  5. I taught and coached Sloane and Kenesaw while he was in high school. Although I hadn’t had the chance to visit with Sloane since those high school days, I remember him as a great kid with a perpetual smile. He was a genuine friend to all who knew him. Rachel and I send our prayers to Sloane’s family during this difficult time.

  6. As Sloane’s Kindergarten and Second Grade teacher I always thought of Sloane as a fun, energetic, caring boy. As I watched him mature into a wonderful young man and graduate from Kenesaw High School he left us all with wonderful memories. My thoughts and prayers are being sent to friends and family.

  8. Ashley we love you and will always love Sloane. I will never forget the first time I met Sloane I thought wow that man working at Hy-vee is tall. Ashley told me not to stare. I told her i was going in for a closer look. Sloane had a great deep laugh a smile that would light up a room and a big bear hug. He loved like no other and would listen to any story you had to tell. He was easy going and could shoot the bull with a complete stranger longer if he knew you. He loved his girls sasha, sophie and his wife Ashley. He loved to make beer. Won several awards for his own recipe his beer was amazing one and done if u were a light weight that is. Sloane loved is Red Dodge truck I remember driving through car lots to look at baby Ashley and I were told we were going to get icecream but some how we got sidetracked. I could go on and on about the times with Sloane. The one thing that needs to be said is Sloane we are so proud of you for fighting this horrible disease, you and Ash never gave up. May you rest easy with a large pint of your brew, I loved the orange one the most, a big screen tv watching Payton play for the Broncos and until we meet again know we love you so much. Cousins forever oh yah you still have to watch over Ashley every single day. You are her gaurdian angel in heaven.

  12. Although I haven’t seen Sloane since our high school days in Kenesaw, I remember him fondly. We had a lot of fun together in our church’s youth group. He was very warm and friendly and always had a witty comeback to make everyone laugh. God bless his family, and may you take comfort in the fact that this good-bye is only temporary. RIP, Sloane.
