Now we are crushed. RIP.

We had a lot of fun together in our church’s youth group. He was very warm and friendly and always had a witty comeback to make everyone laugh. God bless his family, and may you take comfort in the fact that this good-bye is only temporary. RIP, Sloane.

He was a great friend and teammate. His great wit and sense of humor will not be forgotten. Sloane was just a great guy to be around and someone who would give you the shirt off his back. He had a heart of gold. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I will never forget the first time I met Sloane I thought wow that man working at Hy-vee is tall. Ashley told me not to stare. I told her i was going in for a closer look. Sloane had a great deep laugh a smile that would light up a room and a big bear hug. He loved like no other and would listen to any story you had to tell. He was easy going and could shoot the bull with a complete stranger longer if he knew you. He loved his girls sasha, sophie and his wife Ashley. He loved to make beer. Won several awards for his own recipe his beer was amazing one and done if u were a light weight that is. Sloane loved is Red Dodge truck I remember driving through car lots to look at baby Ashley and I were told we were going to get icecream but some how we got sidetracked. I could go on and on about the times with Sloane. The one thing that needs to be said is Sloane we are so proud of you for fighting this horrible disease, you and Ash never gave up. May you rest easy with a large pint of your brew, I loved the orange one the most, a big screen tv watching Payton play for the Broncos and until we meet again know we love you so much. Cousins forever oh yah you still have to watch over Ashley every single day. You are her gaurdian angel in heaven.

As I watched him mature into a wonderful young man and graduate from Kenesaw High School he left us all with wonderful memories. My thoughts and prayers are being sent to friends and family.

Although I hadn’t had the chance to visit with Sloane since those high school days, I remember him as a great kid with a perpetual smile. He was a genuine friend to all who knew him. Rachel and I send our prayers to Sloane’s family during this difficult time.
