I dreamt that I was in a lobby somewhere and I saw a man in a wheelchair with a man behind him and a woman off to the side. I looked at the man and thought he looked vaguely familiar. Without thinking, I asked, “Is that Thomas?” and the woman said, “Yes, Thomas Iwand.” I was happily surprised as I walked toward Thomas. The dream ended.
Thomas, Valerie, Marc, and Hans lived down the street from me in Lemont, Pa. They took my brother Jeff and I with them and their children on picnics and other outings. I last saw Marc about 30 years ago when he suddenly appeared at my parent’s home. We spent the evening going out to dinner and getting caught up. I had one correspondence with Valerie before she passed. I have many happy memories of the Iwand family. I’m sorry for your loss. Marc and Hans, please feel free to contact me.
