Tim Peters, born on September 16, 1963, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2024. A man who brightened every room with his warmth and laughter, Tim’s absence leaves an irreplaceable space in the hearts of his family and friends.

Tim spent the last three years working for Werner Enterprises, a role he cherished deeply. The company’s mission resonated with his values, and Tim was a proud and dedicated team member. He took great pride in seeing the signature blue trucks on the road and was thrilled when he had the opportunity to go on a ride-along.

A proud resident of his new home in Gretna, Tim loved hosting gatherings filled with joy, conversation, and laughter. His home was more than just a place; it was a welcoming haven for all who entered, and Tim’s gracious hospitality will be fondly remembered by everyone he welcomed in.

Tim’s family and friends were immensely proud of his 19 years of sobriety—a milestone that exemplified his strength and commitment. As a sponsor and encourager to many, Tim provided hope and inspiration to those on similar journeys. His legacy of support and compassion will live on in the countless lives he touched.

He adored his family, especially his youngest nieces and nephew, with whom he shared a special bond. Known for his playful spirit and knack for silly games, Tim was a kid at heart and brought joy to family gatherings with his infectious laughter and playful antics.

A dedicated member of Life Church, Tim was passionate about serving others, a role he embraced with love and devotion. His compassion and commitment touched many, and he will be remembered for his joy, unwavering kindness, and faith.

Tim is survived by his father and stepmother, Jay and Joan Peters of Lincoln; his sister and brother-in-law, Chris and Brent Bolte of Lincoln; and his brother, Jason Peters of Gilbert, Arizona. He will also be lovingly remembered by his nephews, Thomas Bolte, Jacob Bolte, and Carson Peters; and his nieces, Ainsley Bolte, Wren Havens, and Emery Peters. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Pearson.

Tim leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. He will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege to know him.

Services will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024, at Life Church, 20710 Gold Circle in Elkhorn, at 11:00 a.m., with a luncheon to follow. Casual attire is requested. A burial service for close family and friends will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, at Wyuka Cemetery in Lincoln.
