Una M. Wells, age 90 of Lincoln, passed away peacefully May 7, 2014. She was born September 7, 1923 in Haddam, Kansas to Carl S. and Maude E. (Drips) Multer. She married Max Wells on June 1, 1946. In the early years Una taught school in a one room school house while living in Kansas. She also worked as a PBX operator for the Nebraska Book Company. Una was a member of the First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Church Women United and the Women’s Wesleyan Educational Council.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jeanne Ann and Robert Reynolds of Overland Park, Kansas; grandsons, Kenneth and Christine Reynolds of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Michael and Julie Reynolds and their children Max and Rachel of New Port Richie, Florida. Steven and Chastine Reynolds and their children Nolan and Katie of Montezuma, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Max and her parents.
Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, May 12, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church, 2723 N. 50th Street. Graveside services will be held at 9:30 A.M. on Monday, May 12, 2014 at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorials may be left for First United Methodist Church, Women’s Wesleyan Education Council or Donor’s choice.
